One of the main differences is that our new formula does not contain retinol. In addition, the new Advanced Moisturiser is now formulated for all skin types with even more barrier-supporting ingredients to help counter dehydration & dryness which can lead to signs of sensitivity, redness, itching and an overall dull, depleted look. The new formula also includes watermelon seed oil, which has linoleic acid content: the building block of skin’s own ceramides and tripeptide 5 which targets wrinkles and loss of firmness. Both formulas have a similar texture.

The specialised moisture complex is an advanced hydrating blend of ingredients that occur as part of the skin’s Natural Moisturising Factor (NMF). With age and accumulated environmental damage, skin becomes less able to replenish these hydrating substances, leading to dryness and dullness. Lack of these moisturising factors also impacts skin cell turnover (causing it to slow & become uneven) leading to a water imbalance in the uppermost layers. Key ingredients in this complex include sodium PCA, sodium hyaluronate, glycerine, urea and trehalose.
